KAM Kasb Shannah app

The KAM system was presented to the Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology in 2022.

About

Birkar Information Technology Establishment (Birkar Tech) is a Saudi company that develops apps and systems for individuals and businesses and helps them automate their work. We start by understanding how you work, then design and build, and stay with you after launch for support and improvements.

Shannah is one of Birkar's products. We designed and built it from the idea to a working platform, and Birkar's founding team runs its day-to-day operations.

We work in Saudi Arabia with private-sector and non-profit organizations.

Our vision

To be among the leaders in information technology, with solutions that improve business efficiency and user experience in the Saudi and global markets.

Our mission

To provide high-quality technology services that help our clients reach their digital goals efficiently and reliably.

How we work

Our work doesn't end when the app is delivered. We keep following the product after launch and improve it as its user base grows.

Design and build

We build the complete product: a customer app, a vendor app, and an admin dashboard that connects them.

Launch and scale

We launch in stages, track the numbers week by week, then expand from one city to the next.

Improve and manage

We write and document the operating and management procedures so your team can run things clearly after launch.

What we offer

We listen to the problem first, then propose a solution that fits its size and your budget.

App and system development

Mobile apps, dashboards and web platforms designed around how your business works day to day.

Example: Shannah, with its customer, vendor and courier apps and admin dashboard.

Technical consulting and assessment

We review your current systems and hand you a clear report: what needs fixing now, what can wait, and what it will cost.

For businesses with systems already running that need a clear diagnosis before deciding.

From idea to product

If you have an idea, we define the simplest version worth launching, build it, and test it with real users before scaling.

Example: the first version of Fomy, a car-wash ordering platform.

Our work

Projects we took from analysis to delivery, ordered by start year.

KAM

A self-ordering system for restaurants, cafés and co-working spaces.

Many restaurants run one system for dine-in orders, another for delivery, and a separate cashier. We combined them into one system that lets customers order the way that suits them.

  • Customer app: pre-ordering, table booking, and pickup in-store, curbside or at the drive-through window
  • Apps for the kitchen, service staff and venue manager, plus a main dashboard
  • Self-service cashier where customers pay on their own, reducing the staff needed at checkout

The system was presented to H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

  • iOS and Android
  • Web dashboard
  • Self-service

Kasb

A sales platform connecting producing companies with merchants and buyers.

Built for beneficiaries of charitable associations. Each beneficiary gets a ready online store stocked with products from producing companies, plus training to run it, so they earn an income from their own work instead of relying on aid.

  • Main admin panel for the platform, subscriptions and ads
  • Portal for producing companies to manage products, offers and orders
  • A store for every merchant, selling on their own account or as an agent for a company
  • Buyer website for shopping from merchants' stores
  • Laravel
  • Angular
  • Four dashboards

Riyadi

A platform that records community tournaments and ranks players using AI.

Community tournaments are played every week and leave no record, so talented players have nothing to prove their level. Riyadi saves tournament results and turns them into player rankings.

  • Platform where organizers upload tournament data and match results
  • Machine-learning model that analyzes match data and ranks players
  • Entered in the AI League competition

Fomy

A car-wash ordering platform, starting in Jeddah.

Customers order a car wash in the app, the request goes to the nearest service provider, and the customer follows its status until the wash is done. We are building the first version to launch within 90 days in selected neighborhoods.

  • Customer app for ordering, tracking and rating
  • Service-provider app for accepting orders and viewing earnings
  • Admin dashboard for pricing, order tracking and complaints
  • iOS and Android
  • Maps and order dispatch
  • Admin dashboard

Shannah

A Saudi delivery platform for home-cooked food from home-based families and local cooks.

Shannah is one of Birkar's products. We designed and built it from the idea to a working platform, and we run its day-to-day operations.

Many home-based food businesses sell through social media with no proper system for ordering, payment or delivery. Shannah brings the cook, supplier, courier and customer onto one platform: customers order a meal or a feast from a home kitchen and get it delivered to their door.

  • Customer app: location-based search, meals, feasts and a market, ordering, payment and delivery tracking
  • Vendor app for cooks and home-based families: sales dashboard, catalog, orders and wallet
  • Shannah Academy inside the vendor app, with short lessons on setting up a store, food safety, photography and pricing
  • Wholesale market (B2B) where vendors buy from suppliers
  • Courier app, admin dashboard, and the shnah.com website

More than 1,200 people tried Shannah before its official launch.

  • iOS and Android
  • Laravel and Vue
  • Delivery system

Why Birkar

You work directly with the people who build

Our leadership takes part in analysis and development, so your requirements arrive as they are, with no middlemen.

A clear agreement from day one

Before we start coding, we agree in writing on scope, timeline and the post-launch support plan.
